Shaw ~ Kristopeit Wedding Shower 03-06-05 - March 7th, 2005 by Eileen Zirbel
A wedding shower was held Sunday March 6th at Faith Lutheran church for Amanda Shaw and Joshua Kristopeit. The "theme" shower invitations were sent out by Katie Hagen, sister of the groom to be. Many fun and useful gifts were received. The luncheon included foods such as barbeque, meatballs, taco salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, petit-fours, punch, danish layer cake, pineapple-coconut cream cheese cake, candy and nut cups among other delicious foods. Several cute games were played hosted by Aunt Nancy Brichacek who acted as our "Vanna" for gametime. The high scorer of each game won play "joshua & amanda" money which was then used to bid on prizes. Amanda's mother Dawn and her Grandmother came from Stoughton. Grandma Alma Kristopeit attended from northern Wisconsin and Grandma Joyce Buehrens attended along with her 3 sisters Great Aunt Lois Mellen, Great Aunt Phyllis Gordon and Great Aunt Susie Hatch. Guest Dominike Steffens came all the way from Germany to attend! (Actually she is a foreign exchange student living with Aunt Mary Sandberg family for the school semester). Mary and her daughters Jamie and Holly were in attendance along with many other relatives. The wedding is planned for June 2005.
